You won’t find a nicer Dr. Feickert Turntable than ours, outside of a brand new one, unboxed. There are no visible marks on this unit, a few specs of dust maybe, but we can’t see any marks or even smudges.
This has been in our reference system for several months and was purchased by us as demo stock from a Dr. Feickert dealer. We’ve reviewed the turntable and you can read our thoughts here – [Dr. Feickert Volare Review]
As you’ll learn from our review, this is a fantastic performer and it supplanted our previous favorite turntable in the $5000 range, the Music Hall MMF11. The only negative we found with the Volare is the need for proper isolation. It’s not really a negative, all Turntables should be appropriately isolated from acoustic feedback, we just found it all the more important with the Volare.
I can promise you that you won’t be disappointed in the turntable, and the Origin Live Silver is the best arm I’ve used under $2000. The included Cadenza Bronze has plenty of live and provides a slightly warm, full-bodied and sweet sound.
We’ll pack this up in the original box with all paperwork and get it off to the new owner within one business day of receiving payment.
